Pretty Good

Pretty good headset. Works magnificently with the Xbox.I had problems with my PC at first, there was a constant buzz in the background. I later updated my sound card to an asus xonar essence STX and it the buzzing disappeared.

Love it, and hate it

I've tried the previous generation of Carcharias, the Corsair Vengeance 1300, and Creative's Recon3D with Tactic3D Sigma and Omega Wireless. The previous Carcharias sounded good, and this one sounds better, for the most part - music is full without sounding artificially boomy (once you turn the bass down halfway). I think the USB connection is acting as a headphone amp. But that's also it's drawback - the USB power adds high-pitched noise. It's less of a factor for music that already has a lot of distortion, but in quieter songs or in gameplay, you'll hear it. From searching the web, it sounds like this is a common complaint.The comfort level is very similar to the previous model, though the braided cord is conspicuously absent from this model. Build quality seems about the same.
