Product Description
This is the latest "Bi-Directional" PAL to NTSC or NTSC to PAL video upscaling converter (Model: VHD-PNC) from ViewHD.
This AV+HDMI TO HDMI converter and upscaler can convert 480I(NTSC)/576I(PAL) format signal to 720P/1080P HDMI signal output.
It supports NTSC/PAL DVD, set-top box, HD player, Game Console (PS2, PS3, PSP, Wii, XBOX360 etc).
Input / Output Specifications:
1) HDMI output format: 720P@50/60Hz, 1080P@50/60Hz.
2) Audio output format: Digital coaxial audio, analog stereo audio.
3) AV / Composite / CVBS input format: PAL/NTSC_M/NTSC4.43/SECAM/PLA-M/PAL-N.
4) HDMI input format: 480I/576I/480P/576P/720P/1080I/1080P@50/60Hz.

ViewHD Works in India

Tried this recently on NTSC TV in India and this converter does a good job of converting. Since none of the reviews were available thought of posting it in case if someone is looking forward to buying a PAL to NTSC converter for India.

Item exactly as described. Worked as advertised. Simple to hook up, easily converts PAL signal to NTSC for viewing on US TV's. Image quality is good. It does leave a small black border line on the left side of the screen but it does not interfere with TV image.

easy set up - works perfectly

The set up is very easy, just connected 2 HDMI cabkles (in and out) and plugged them into the TV and DVD player and it worked great.
