I love 3d

I have this along with an AMD HD6950 for a complete HD3D setup. 3D gaming has been a joy with 1 caveat, make sure you turn response to NORMAL! If you have it on a faster setting you will get an insane amount of ghosting. It took me a few days to figure this out, which was very frustrating.Most games do require third party drivers. I have been using tri-def, which comes with the monitor, or you can buy the full suite for $20 through AMD (which gets you a media player). It was worked fairly well on most of the games I want to play (skyrim).

my rating breakdown.1 star = hated it, didn't work, company wouldn't help, most likely caused me some kind of physical harm (I rarely if ever give these)2 star = did not work as I'd hoped, I want a refund, I'll never use it, not worth it.3 star = a hiccup here and there, didn't meet all my expectations, but works and is a decent product4 star = met all my expectations, did exactly what I wanted it to, works like a charm.5 star = blew me away! works better than I'd hoped, I should've bought two!Pros+ Great price and quality (if you can find a good deal such as the 300 i payed)+ true 2ms response time makes all gaming a joy+ super sleek LED display looks great and saves space+ nice easy to access control button on front of stand+ 2D to 3D mode, turns anything on the monitor into 3D, not as well as true 3D of course, but works well and a nice feature+ best 3D glasses I've ever worn, don't hurt my head or sit funny at all+ works flawlessly with no headaches for console (Xbox 360) and PC alike+ included basic Tridef 3D softwarecon(s)- glossy, catches reflections sometimes, but almost impossible to notice (damn that blue light on my headset....) but nothing compared to the PS 3D display.- doesn't include full Tridef software, the version included works for games, but not for video or pictures or any of that, also it tends to receive updates more slowly.misc*has HDMI and displayport only! that means if you have an Nvidia card stay away, for whatever reason samsung geared this to ATI cards.*buttons on the front of the stand are touch buttons, i'd have preferred regular buttons, but that's just imo*the quality of the 3D depends a lot more on who produced the game, rather than the monitor, unfortunately most 3D games out there have the 3D added as an after thought and it shows.I spent a long time looking around and 3D displays, researched and just couldn't seem to find one that i could afford and would do what i wanted. (work for console and PC gaming) I saw the PS 3D display go on sale for 300 and thought I found my solution, but alas, the lack of anything other than HDMI input crippled it as a computer monitor, and the glossy screen was a joke, plus the glasses hurt my head. so I returned it, and just decided I'd settle for a nice regular monitor and look into 3d again later. But then I found this deal for this wonderful display, glasses included, tridef software included, and DP port for my AMD card, everything i wanted all together, all the stores that sold it at that odd low price of 299.99 had a strict no return policy on the display which worried me, but after reading into it a lot i went for it, and I'm sure glad I did. The monitor is amazing as a 2D display, true 2ms response time, vivid colors, beautiful contrast, every test one could throw at a monitor it passed with flying colors. Then when you fire up the 3D it just gets better, both console and PC perform flawlessly, no time spent messing with settings, it just worked, plain and simple. I could write more about why I loved this monitor, but you get the idea.

This monitor is amazing. I love it. Used to have Samsung 2232BW. This monitor blows that one away! 120Hz is smooth and seamless. 2d to 3d is awesome too! Looks nice and High Def!
