Good sound

This is very nice product. The sound quality is great for its size. We have another iPod speaker by Bose and the two have sufficient sound quality. We are very satisfied with the sound.On the down side: I seems that the user can somehow switch out the cradle for different flavors of iPod (this is shown in the instructions and a tool is included for changing the cradle); however, the cradles are not included (or at least it has not been obvious where it is located). Consequently, our iPod is a bit unstable in the dock.The remote is a bit flaky. Perhaps it is our older model iPod. When we want to replay a song and press the play button, the iPod begins playing the first song in the music folder. It is necessary that we go though the menu system and navigate to the song again in order to replay it.Finally, if you are using this in your bedroom, it has a light on the front indicating that the device is powered. At night, this can be a bit annoying.

Dock quit working soon after 90 day warranty

DO NOT BUY THIS DOCK!!!!The dock quit working after only a few months of use. Customer service was no help and did not care that I was unhappy with their product.The 90 day limited warranty shows how confident they are in the poor quality of the products. Give us a 1 year warranty!!!!!Buyers beware! I will never recommend any products from Speakal.
